It is dark out and we are still on the road. That doesn't happen much. Leroy wants to make it to Fargo tonight. We will probably get in late and have to stay in a walmart lot, but what the heck.
Started the day out early by our standards (630 wash time) but we still never get on the road till 10. We had a two hour time zone difference and it still didn't look early even tho Diesel and I were really tired and did not want to get up. I ate protein to late last nite and could not go to sleep. Wide away for most of the nite, finally fell asleep early am after a couple Tylenol. Well, when I don't sleep, diesel and iris, and occasionally Sallee doesn't sleep either. I was out on the couch and after a while Diesel came out to check on me and try to get me to go back to bed (leading me there). I changed his diaper, he was wet but he didn't want to go out (thankgoodness). I took him back and put him on the bed with Leroy and he curled up. I went back to the couch. Soon he came out again and decided if I wasn't going to come in there he would sleep with me on the couch, so he snuggled in. Then early am when I finally decided I could sleep I took him and back to bed we went. Well in a couple hours
there is Leroy up, dressed and almost ready to take off. Well, little Diesel was with me, looking at Leroy like he was crazy. We lounged on the bed, then the couch until we both decided we could get up. Iris was sound asleep in her crate the whole time. She can come and go in her crate, she knows how to open and shut the door from either side so she goes to bed when she wants.
Before we left town I decided to go get coffee this am instead of slowing Leroy down by making it at home. He drove up across the street with the rig and i got out and headed to the coffee place. An older cowboy(yes, the real thing) was standing their drinking his while he waited for his friend to get his. He looked at me and said, "that's quite a long wagon train you got there" I love it so now instead of an RV, we have a wagon train.
We came thru the north part of North Dakota. Its all oil wells, and ranches up here. Saw some fracking
