Iris

Iris got her UKC championship a few weeks ago in St. Helens Oregon. This is the professional picture that got taken and I just got it today. Thought I would post it. It was an exciting weekend and I did the showing myself which was a totally new thing for me. I was able to run around the ring, that was the exciting part. And the last time in the ring we beat that darn good sheltie that has been plagueing us.

this is the flower garden, can't tell how bad it looks cause leroy already baled the hay. it will be full of digitalis next year cause it is over run with them now.

cool october afternoon

I wanted to send out some picture to show what happens when your mower breaks, number one, and what your garden looks like with at least one year of neglect and partial neglect for 2 years before that. Plus Kathy, wanted you to know what it looks like out here. I am in so need of you to come help me with this place. I keep at it but i am so behind. You can see the grass, its so long, Leroy tried to mow part of it with the string trimmer. The mower has been broken for almost a month but at least we have the parts ordered now. The paths are where the dogs have worn thru the bark, so we are badly in need of barking, and not the kind the dogs do, but that's a good job for winter. So things are still green here but leaves are turning and starting to fall. We got no walnuts this year, or very little, cause the darn Stellars Jays get most of them when we aren't fast on the draw. My veggie garden did poorly and got overrun. But I can do stuff now so i do a bit at a time, eventually i will get caught up. Its fun to be able to do stuff now. Its in the 50's here during the days lately with some sun in the afternoon but usually morning fog that burns off. Having problems with the pictures but i will get them on.
