Today is Sallee's 10th birthday. We placed Frisbee till both of us were exhausted. Then we had a nice long walk alone and some obedience training time. The rest of the time she was outside until supper and then she came in and is about to crash. Iris played a lot today too and with being outside and it being Sallee's bday she must have just worn herself out. She is also exhausted. Diesel was outside all day too, and tho he was mostly in a blanket all the time he is tired too. They all ate good tho
The Metamucil seems to be working for Iris bowels. She is going and I know if we could get her regulated her butt wouldn't hurt so much and then she wouldn't have that urge to go all the time and not have anything there. We have a script we can use should we want to try it but i would like to avoid it if possible. She takes her Metamucil in about a tsp of canned food in a bowl before she eats and she has been scarfing it down and eating more food than usual tonight. So yippee if we can fix it, cause I can't show her in anything if she will probably poop in the ring. Today we took a really long walk together and she never stopped to poo once.
It has been pretty cold the last few nites. We have been disconnecting water every nite. The Am's have been in the 30's. The campground is mostly deserted, just a few hardy souls left. Leroy's friends across the way left today, too bad.
Today was the last day of his fishing license. He went out and was gone hours. He finally brought home a trout tonight. It was only one but he has been discouraged never catching them tho he loves sitting around on the beach. I told him where i thought he should fish based on the rangers suggestions and to use what he suggested and he had lots of bites but only caught one. So i hate to say so but I was right, ha ha ha
As i said the nites are cool and the days are cool fall beautiful days. It was so peaceful to go out walking today. I should be sewing but it has been so nice getting caught up on stuff, feels so freeing.
