Our first week

It has been a week since we left the house. It's been a bit of a busy week and a bit discombobled.  Been on the go constantly it seems. I wrote this last nite and promptly lost it so decided to wait till today as is was to tired to redo it last nite.  So forgive me if I repeat anything.

Thurs we moved here to carnation to the ToltMcdonald Park in Carnation.  I had md apps and my yearly boob squish to get done before I came over.  My doc said he just wants me to work on regaining my energy, strength and muscle tone and just recoup.  He figures it will take about 2 months before I am rested up and bored and able to do the one hour or 3 miles 5-6 days a week as he wants so I can maintain what I have. So he gave me strict orders to rest and recoup for 2 months.  The  stimultor is working and I now have less pain in my legs and actually some feeling that I haven't had before so over all it is working.   I mainly just need on pain pill late in the day when my muscles and body so fatigued I can't help but hurt.  Most nites are pretty good.  All of this comes from fibromyalgia, over active nerve system which creates chronic pain syndrome, and stenosis from back surgery, and this stupid severe restless legs that I have developed over the years.  But I keep chugging along and don't let it stop me from doing anything.  In fact when I think I am doing well like to day a guy asked me to day if I was ok as I  walked like I was in pain.   What a bummer, I thought I looked pretty good.
Anyhow, enough of that, that info is really for my sisters who seem to worry about me for some reason.
We are hear in Carnation this weekend as Leroy's nose work club(newly formed) is having a mock trial and he had to work at.  Yest we ran to the outlet mall so I could go to my store for my yearly underwear run,  I also found 3 bottoms (jeans, shorts, dress pants) For really really cheap, but the cool thing is they are one size smaller than I have been weàring. That was really cool.
When we got back from there I went to the local laundromat at the end of the street and washed clothes for almost 3 hours.  It had gotten away from me in the move,
Today I cleaned the RV and worked with the dogs and took them for a couple of long walks.
The park is quite pretty and has an opening for another host so Leroy applied.   We will see what happens from there.  It will screw up our summer plans some but it would give us a free summer and chance to get back on our feet financially.  So who knows.  The part of the park that needs some one is on the other side of the river and only reachable by foot bridge, except for getting the RV there on park roads.  Except for the yurts and tent campers its isolated but pretty. The river is still pretty high and fast right now but goes down as the summer goes on.  It's a nice park outside of a nice little town.
It is known for  couger, bobcat, and bear sittings so I watch my little charges closely.
Well that is all for this time,  I home it gets more exciting for people to read.  Till then........

Boring as always.  Aren't any of you glad you decided to follow this.  ha ha.

Well we said goodbye to the huge dinner plate bullfrogs this am, and the birds at our birdfeeder.  We will be back around the 20th to get the dingy for the car.  It wasn't a bad place to stay and I enjoyed the trains.

Then we proceeded to the casino, again free lodging.  Found a great spot, sat and enjoyed ourselves.  Admired some horticulture.  The blue spruce have such beautiful new growth and it is so blue and feels like rubber.  The flower beds here are gorgeous so we walked around and identified and appreciated plants.
We did gamble a bit and lost nothing, paid for our supper (Leroy does love the buffet) and came home.
Then another nice walk, out into a field heavily inhabited with killdeer that tried to convince us that they all had broken wings and we should follow them.  Rather than disturb them we cut thru some brush to a trail instead.  We love killdeer.  Had many of them up at the football field in Mayer where we walked every nite.  How they can make those nests in the ground and you can't find them never ceases to amaze me. Nature is so amazing and its so much fun to have nothing but time to appreciate every little bit of it.  But as Leroy and I both say, I am easily impressed.
Tomorrow is a fun day of a mamogram and a md appt and then the plan is to proceed to the campground over by Carnation for the weekend.  Leroy has to help his nosework club with a trial or something this weekend, so hopefully i will get some shopping for new underwear at the outlet mall and maybe a little sewing done.

Good Morning World.  What is in store today.  Thank you God for another day and I know you are with me whatever happens.

On my little patch of grass i adopted when i was at camp world campground there was a bird feeder someone had put up.  Leroy went and got seed and filled it, here he is in the process.  Such a sweetie.
this tree at city beach park just was so cool when i looked up at it from the window, i had to save it.
Puppies tied to a tree while leroy tried to get a picture of that great windmill at city beach
Puppies nicely waiting.  great shot i think
Aren't the flowers great at the windmill.  Oak Harbor does a nice job with this park.
Here are me and my two pups (diesel is between my legs) watching birds and relaxing.
This is the great area in burlington behind camping world.  Iris was enjoying herself.  They have some huge B
BULLFROGS, think one of them is Jeramiah.
Here I go again!

I just wrote this and then lost it.  Yikes that makes me mad.

Yest. I spent over three hours sitting in the sun on a beautiful patch of grass between two marshes with my dogs and my chair and book and binoculars.  It was gorgeous.  We kept an eye on an eagle that was keeping his eye on us.  We saw lots of birds and animals.  We were tired so we laid in the grass.  It was wonderful.  I think that was relaxing.
My doctor wants me taking pictures of relaxing places and things that i do and put them on the computer as a slide show so that i learn what relaxing looks like and feels like, so i can bring it to mind when i need it.  he is determined to help me learn to relax.  he wants me to live longer he says.
So maybe i will post a couple.
Hit the hay at 9 and slept till 8 so i am catching up.
Today we are still here at the camping world RV spots, but that's OK.  its free and has this great spot to sit and reflect.
Good spot to work from with getting errands and such.
Leroy finally got his kindle fire hd big screen and that means i get to inherit the old one.  yeah, want to get magazines on line now.
And we finally got a small printer to use in the RV.  We got the cannon as my pain MD has them in all her rooms and shes so picky i knew she wouldn't have anything that isn't good. Plus it was cheaper, ha ha.
And we are getting the towing things set up so we can tow the car and now have me follow behind.  that don't work for crap cause i fall asleep anymore when i am driving.
Things are going well.  No problems yet. God is taking good care of us!!!!!

June 4
Well we stayed at city park in oak harbor last nite.  We got up early and came to camping world by the time they opened.  Leroy stayed at the service desk, iris and I laid down in the car and the rest of the animals stayed in RV.   It was just a glich and the inverter had to be reprogrammed.  Something we could do IF we had the book, or IF someone hadn't misplaced it.  So no harm, no cost.  God bailed us out again.
Sooo Leroy walked out to the car and informed me that the motor home was done and said, well what do we do now? and listed some choices.  It felt funny to not have anything we did have planned and the freedom to just do what we wanted.  I can't remember if we have ever had that.  It was cool.
So we decided we could spend one day in camper worlds RV spot.  Free hook up and there is a marsh here that is fenced in with great green grass belt around it and other marsh between this and the train tracks.  Train  tracks you say, well for us, that is music to our ears.  We LOVE trains and train tracks.  Lived by one for many years, its a lullaby to sleep by.  So its great.   We are going to do some shopping and then i am taking my chair and binoculars and going out by the marsh and do some bird watching in the warm sun.;
