3/29 sat pictures

This picture above if you enlarge it is especially cute.  They were waiting for us.

This is my handsome boy above.  Below is our paper shredder, and she schreds them in exact striaght rows.  Here she is taking one of the pieces she got and putting it under her wing where she plans to take it to her nest, which never happens as she drops them and forgets about them.
Below is Dale and Jim.  We have some nicer pictures of them on leroys phone but haven't figured how to get them off yet.

These are some of my favorite pictures.  They may not be brand new but I just love them.  The standing one is the day he leftdown here

 Two of a kind.
The desert is blooming and it is gorgeous.  Below is the sunset from a trail in the saguro desert where we were hiking.

More flowers

 Another picture of the sunset

a shot of a door way in las cruces.  I have a number of views of this and have to do something.

3/29. Sat

Sorry it has been so long.  To busy or to tired to do any thing.  When I am tired I can not think.
Jeff was here till fri and left in the aft.  We had lots of fun and got together with his cousins a few time.  He enjoyed the area and actually would consider coming here.
We picked up new phones also but our numbers are the same.  We gave up on apple and switched to Samsung.  So far it seems it will be a  good switch.  Little bit of a learning curve but I think we can do it.  Good to have challenges in life as you get older,
After he left we decided to get some things down we hadn't gotten done.   We were looking for a pharmacy and came across a store.  Fabrics to go.  I figured it was upholstery fqbric but Leroy said go in anyhow,  ok. I did.  No sooner was I in there and I turned around and went and got him froM the car and said "you have to see this".  Now remember he makes kites, does the mending, and grew up helping his dad fix shoes and reupholster, so he loves fabric like I do.  It was a shop that carried everything.  One young man gave us a tour.  The people ran a big shop in New York.   37 years ago,  the retired to Tucson and then decided to open a store with just scraps, they now have this place that ishugeandhas room after room of fabric.  So much I don't think they know what they have.  When they were sick the fabric companies designed material just for them that appear no where else. They now all the big wigs in fabric by first name.so they get rements and bulk and special designs and etc and their fabric is unbelievably reasonably priced,  they are an old Jewish couple in their 80's I guess. We met the,.   darling people.  He showed me around,he showed me his antique button collection, and she showed me material she had designed.  They were just darling people and sharp as tacks. The quatemalan fabric was so great.  So it was a whole morning spent there and we never had so much fun.  So Donna that is the story behind the fabric and gift  from there.  You should have been there.
I also wanted to say there are more thrift stores out here than I have ever seen. You Donna would have a caniption trying to hit them all.
We have been doing hiking in the desert, which is so cool.  Usually we are out at sunset and the scenes are to much to describe,
One pm we went to the park and dog park that was close to us.  A nice little family park,   We went one morning to the dog park and met the nicest group of people.  One even took us to her car and gave us fresh Roma tomatoes.  We have not only met great people we have met some great dogs too,
Yest we got our phones switched over, I got my RX filled and then we met our cousins for one least time for supper at a place called sweet tomato,  it's a salad bar with soup and everything and all fresh,  pretty cool food, we went to one in Houston with a friend also. They are pretty good.  If you over eat it's not so bad.
Today we left Tucson sadly as we loved it there, and went past Phoenix as we never were very thrilled with that city.  We camped tonight in black canyon city.  We may be here a couple of days while we look up some friends and look around.
I waited so long I am sure I forgot some amazing stories.  Today I ran errands before we left on my bike,  that was so cool.  We have been getting our time in on the bikes also.
Oh we had the car fixed,  it need three joints.  Had they found out what caused it before we left we probably would have only needed one but now it was three.  The labor was more than the joints.  It also needs tires so that's next. But at least we didn't need a new car which is good cause I couldn't find one.
Weather is sunny and in the 80's.  Today when we got to this campground we went swimming, that was so cool.
Will try to add pictures today or tomorrow.
