This comming weekend

Well this weekend is Iris' debut into the real agility ring. She does great in class, she had a bit of stage fright but got thru it at a demo and this weekend is the real thing. I just hope to have fun and expose her to it and remember there is a lot of agility between the start and the finish, so we will take it one jump at a time. Frosti and Trixie are getting a bit to arthritic to do it tho each one just needs one qualifying class to get a title. Sallee and Leroy will run and hopefully it will go good but he doesn't practice so don't know why he should expect much. It is our club putting the show on so we will also have to do some work with set up and volunteering here and there thru out the weekend. The show is in Oak Harbor so its not far from home. Most of you reading this have no idea what I am talking about but that is what i am doing with my weekend.

Happy Day

i forgot to say, those of you who may read this may know about my little granddau i adopted in my heart, we both did. Well situation is that we haven't had a chance to see her in a long time. The horse quilt wall hanging i have a picture of on face book was made for her graduation. Well the little gal (shes taller than me) came over and finally got it and we had such a nice long visit. It made us both happy. She still considers us honorary grandparents and feels comfortable with us and felt like she could talk freely. It was such a joy to have her here. I hope she keeps in contact, she has so much future ahead, i hope we can at least be a small part of it.

Rainy Sunday

Fortunately i live in the nw. I love the rain, and drizzly days The weather doesn't seem to bother me no matter what it is, i like it weather or not. Today i met with my little handler and she tried to teach me what to do so that in Sept if she can't go along to the show I will know what to do and I can show Iris in the breed ring myself. She has a commitment with 4H and if she wins this next weekend she probably can't go as she will be in grand champion classes that weekend but hopefully I was a good enough student and with some practice in the next couple weeks i will be able to get by. I hate to wish her ill will in her other competitions. She is just the sweetest little girl. We are having such joy working with her. Her grandparents gave us permission to adopt her and her sister Sam as grandkids also, but we would adopt the grandparents too as they are just the best people for us to be friends with. The whole family is great. Its nice to meet nice people in this world isn't it. And I have been so blessed to meet so many.
We had a farm tour this weekend here in the area but since i had to work i missed out. When i got home today we went to two of the farms that were on the tour and that are just down our road. One was an alpaca farm and another a vegtable farm . Got some good ideas tho, and the baby alpacas are so cute.
