I will start this by saying I am so mad at myself. I just wrote this whole blog and I lost the whole thing. Then when I rewrite it I definetly leave out things or details.
We have been having a time. Not our best of the trip I will say.
Sidney is evidently not feeling good and is exceptionally crabby. He beat up Carrie a few times in the last week and the last time I guess it was over the water dish. He chased her into the bedroom from the drivers area and had her between the bed and the side dresser. I had to pull him out by his tail. Then I out him in his bed up front with us and it was next to diesel in his bed and he turned and slapped the shit out of him. Poor diesel didn't know what was happening. I stopped that by throwing a blanket over diesel to protect him.
So it has been fun here.
Then I had said that the electric system in the coach we were having trouble with. Well it's worse. The batt aeries are almost said in the coach and the inverter is not working well like it is designed and they aren't charging like they should and we are almost dry camping as we have minimal utilities. It's a lot more complicated than it sounds. Anyhow we have beepers going off all the time, the birds are t even getting sleep. Leroy is stressed cause he can't fix it. I just got groceries. Something always happens after I get groceries.
Just found this in the drafts so will publish it even tho it is out of context. It makes the latest one make sense.

To bring you up to date we are in south sound headed home, or headed with our home.we stayed in whales head two days. Mainly becsuse we couldn't get the slide in and had to wait for the insurance to find us a repair man to come and get us mobile again, he did, (don't know what he did but the slide went in and the jacks up ) so we started on our way. We decided we would just stop and not put the slide out or the jacks down and limp home that way till the poor little RV could see its doctor.
Wed we set out from whales head near bookings oregon and entered harrisburg by pm. Crummy park but it was ok for a nite. Then thurs we started out and I wanted to check out Brownsville and the surrounding valley. We looked around, had coffe at a coffee house and in general checked out the area, mainly in town and on the gap road. Have heard a lot about it and wanted to see if it was what we were looking for.
Unable to make it to Seattle the next day ( we don't cover lots of ground in a day) we stayed in woodland washingto last nite, nice park. We walked across the street and ate at a Mexican restaurant. Didn't take a picture but I had montery shrimp. It was shrimp wrapped in bacon and cooked. Oh oh so good. Shannon you should have been there.
Today we will make it to Seattle and have lunch with Jeff and then either stay in Everett or the island for the next two/three nites before the RV goes in and we move into Joyce's house for a week or so. Thank god for her she will be gone for most of that time. It amazes me how one friend can be so darn good to put up with us. Between her and Donna, not sure we could do this adventure. If they give up on us we will have to scramble. So I thank God for the wonderful people in our lives.
The blog may be even more boring than usual while we are home but I will post occasionally. Then as soon as we can we intend to find a job some place and start out again. Life on th road will continue for now as we still aren't ready to stop.

We started out from eureka this am. It was a cool nite outside AND I the house. The furnace has no powe to blow the heat. This is the pits. If I wanted old time camping I would do it. I like the I comforts of home cause it is home!!!
Enough bitching. We stopped at a great beach up the coast and wandered for a while and let the dogs run and Iris bark, and bark, and bark. Believe it or not she is better. But you wouldn't so have thought so. Anyhow they had fun and wore off some energy.
Then we stopped in crescent city to take some pictures and had lunch at the pier. The dogs had another walk. I had coconut shrimp.
And we are on our way again. Beep. Beep. Beep. I will hear it in my sleep for weeks.
