Tues

Well we arrived at city beach last pm.  Leroy went the long way and went the ferry route and ran a million errands.  Well probably not millions.  Trying to figure out how to reinvest may investment money, get my new iPad up and running with my limited knowledge, gather up some supplies off my retreat in July, return our hot spot for warrantee, get my mail from the mail box, and meet Donna at the park for a visit and to stretch puppy legs.  I got to Duvall, one off my favorite shops but it was closed on mon.
Next day:
I started this yest, got interrupted and then was to tired to finish.
I ran all my errands, came to home in oak harbor, walked the dogs and went to supper.  We went to china city. It's up here.  I didn't know it had moved to the old Mitzells.   Lovely inside and the food was wonderful.   But again I ate to late and was awake till 2am. I hate those nites and they happen way to often to me.  It's usually pain or restless legs but last nite I just couldn't sleep.  But that's ok cause it wasn't a long nite.  We had to get up at 430 this am.   I had to be in freeland  by 6 to pick up Joyce.   She was scheduled for surgery at 9 and we had to be there by 7.   She had a female type surgery, not my business too blab, and she was done by 10.  The lady in the surgery wait room was so cute.   She found me trying to lay down on a small couch and chairs.   She talked a while and understood why I was so tired and was sweet to me all day.  When I went to eat I was so confused. I told her if I wasn't back in an hour come get me.   She said she would and when I came back said she was watching the time.   Then the surgeon talked with me and I had to wait to get in to see her, so I laid down in the couch, full size, that she had found for me.   Next thing I knew she was shaking me go get up as it was time to go in.  Then she was worried and wanted me to take time to wake up.  Isn't that sweet.  THAT is random acts of kindness.
So inspite of being tired I got Joyce her meds, some food and drink, and home to her family where she was taking meds and going to bed.  She looked pretty uncomfortable when I left her.
It feels good to be of help to a friend I decided. Thanks God for letting me have the opportunity.
I pray she feels better tomorrow
Now tonight we are going to start our search for a tow vehicles that is inexpensive.  Used. So he can pull it flat and my car can have a vacation.  Wish us luck!!!!!!

Beautiful weather

Man the weather is beautiful.  This is the weather I love and don't want to miss.  Warm but not to warm unless you are working hard and are overweight.
The area here is so beautiful.  The Tolt river and the sammaish rivers come together here.   It's why it floods every year in the early part of the year when the snow melt starts and the weather changes so the rain helps melt more.  Then the run off becomes to much for these small banks.  It usually happens in jan thru march till the snow is pretty much gone in the mts.
I can go from here to the outlet mall on back roads in about 20 mins.  I looked for the quilt shop  in North Bend today but it must have closed its doors like so many others.   I will stop in Duvall tomorrow when I leave the area.   So I returned some things today and exchanged others. It was a beautiful day for a ride and the dogs enjoyed themselves as well.  Now we have to put on hiking boots and go for a hike.  Leroy and his club seem to be having a good time and  things are going well for their very first ever trial.  He is tired but what's new.  At this age we are all tired for some reason or another.  Better to be tired having fun than because you worked too hard at something you don't enjoy.
