If I don't do this every day I lose track of time , as time means. Itching to me anymore. Sat we led Tucson after spending fri nite with our dear friends dale and jim. We went to black canyon city and stayed their sat thru mon. We went t Sedona to visit a childhood friend of Leroy's . They have. Been full time RV hosts for many many years (2digit number). We had lunch and went out to their home for the afternoon. That was nice. I was walking the dogs in the desert and they proceeded to get tangled up and trip me and down I went. Thank goodness I didn't fall n a cactus, tho. Had trouble finding enough non sticky ground to lay my hands to get me up. Red dirt all over. Mon we headed for the Grand Canyon. We are going to spend a few hours in flagstaff but we were both tired so we kept going and checked in the the canyon RV spot. We cased the canyon but that was all. Had a magnificent steak dinner at a place with. Grand Canyon video playing and hit the sack. It was cold and windy. Tues we went to the canyon. We spent all day, took their bus from spot to spot and hiked and were exhausted by the time we got home. It is an unbelievable place, awe inspiring. It is beyond what I can even conceive. I would love to go back a sometime and take a mule down and hike more and see some of the other spots.
Today we are headed to Vegas for a couple days and then into California.

Oh at the canyon I met a lion. I will post a picture of him. I made mention of cat man and the guy not dressed up was his friend. We talked about him and he told me he makes costumes for these people.
I asked if it was for movies/tv and he said mostly for the people that go to these conventions.he makes his living making them. We looked at the construction , the mane was incredible, and he shared secrets of how he does it and it was a great chance meeting.
We are now at 6800 feet and we are getting snow. Hope we drive out of it soon. We have been so lucky to have avoided most of the bad weather this year. I am totally addicted to warm weather. Never thought I would say that but make note I did.
