2/10/15 Wed

Well, let see.  Have done some herding.  Don't think we will go to nationals, doesn't seem like she has it yet.  She may be to old to learn a new sport like that.  Not talking about me.  I learn but just really slow.  Drive Lori nuts I am sure.  Oh well, thats another story.
We went to Cavalia.  If you don't know its an acrobatic show with horses.  The most beautiful horses.  Unbelievable, astounding, mesmerizing, gorgeous are only some of the adjectives used to describe it.
We were on the second row end on the floor, right by where the horses come out.  It was unbelievable.  I was so mesmerized I never said hardly a word, now believe that.  Those horses were doing their part (stallions and geldings) without any instruction in spots, without the trainers in the ring in fact.  There was a 6" ledge between them and us only.  They are galloping around on their own, without any halters or anything, doing their thing.  It was unbelievable.  They were out there with their trainers doing massive maneuvers without any control apparatus at all.  Totally amazing.  I couldn't take pictures and they monitored it closely too.  It proves with the right handling horses can be trained to do just about anything just like dogs.  I always knew that as one of our (or moms large large geldings) roamed around the place tether free, just like a dog. The acrobatics was pretty amazing too.  It was kind of based on a story line, fantasy i guess but it was amazing.  The production was just as unbelievable.  The buildings they set up for this.  The filming in the background.  It went round the seasons and you felt you were in it.  They even made rain and a puddle in front for the grand finale moves.  There was everything from free working liberty work (some of the horses doing it without handlers even and when they did no halters even), trick riding, acrobatics on horse back, and lots of pieces that were the horses on their own.  Those horses knew exactly what to do when they were on stage by themselves, even to going to the right spots.  So if any one has a chance to go see it you must go.  Senior tickets are cheaper.  Its hard to explain, you have to see it to believe it.
So thats my one piece of news.  That was our valentines present.
Leroys sister and brother-in-law came down to see us on their way more south.  We had a nice visit and dinner. Then graciously they took Leroy to the airport on Mon. am.  So we got him on his way.  He got to Seattle, is spending time with Jeff and running errands before he loads up the truck with Joyces stuff and heads home.  He got to go see our new little Chinese nephew yest and took him the quilt I made.  Zeke just had surgery a few days ago for his cleft palete so don't think he feels real good yet.
In the meantime I tried to sell some more pictures without any luck so guess i will go back out on sun afternoon and see if I can catch those that weren't home.  Not so sure this job is for me.  Begining to hate it.  So will need to find something else.  Leroy has a lead on a job so will check that out plus there are lots of other jobs being posted daily so we may be able to find one.
Weather here has been in the 80's and sunny.  Guess it is cooling down today to in the 50-60 range.  Don't know how low it plans on going.  Yest. I was able to give the dogs bathes outdoors.  We will see how rinsed I got them or if they will be itching soon.  Trying to get dog beds washed too.
I can keep busy doing any number of things to cleaning, projects, playing with my dogs so I am never bored.  Leroy gets bored but its cause he is to lazy to get up off his butt and do something, but a job should help that.  That has nothing to do with the RV life.  He always got bored, even with lots to do.  He admits that himself.
If I have time today I will post some pictures.  All for now.
