I couldn't pass up this beautiful picture today. My helebores are in full bloom and the purple one looked so good against the purple birdbath (which isn't a birdbath this year- cracked) I just had to share this. The long shot is so Kathy can see the mushrooms she gave me in place in the shade garden. It is such a lovely place to sit, so relaxing and peaceful. i plan to put in more helebores and more shade things there and into the front yard to get a more natural look to the area.
Your pictures are beautiful. I do love those mushrooms...if ever I get gardens going here, will need to get some for me. I have this empty "pallette" of a big backyard and there's so much that could be done IF I had any original ideas and some "old money"...ha. Guess I start making gardens around some of the trees and go from there. Hope I live another 10 years so I can see it done. Have a wonderful day. ReplyDeleteHome from church, sun is shining. Nothing on the calendar to do so maybe help Jon haul wood and do some reading/sewing. We will do as we please. We went to the shelter yesterday to look at a cat; she didn't seem right but there's one on hold that we'll take if the other people don't. Interesting cat with REAL personality. So we'll see what happens. K
ReplyDeleteCan you tell me how you posted your pics? I don't seem to figure that part out. Your flower pics are so pretty; would like to share flowers/quilts with pictures if I wasn't so ignorant! You need to post something pretty soon...a whole week to catch up on....:)
