Here are some pictures from one of my days. The farmstead is a home that was on the garden tour in 1999, it has some wonderful old buildings, some textures in an old foundation and snags over their pond, it is the most beautiful setting. One of the first times i saw it the day was a lite mist and it was almost magical. The other pictures are of a lane in Langley that is lined with blossoming cherry trees. They were not quite at their peak but i had to grab what i could cause some times they don't last so long. It is a beautiful place to drive around on a regular basis, I thank God everyday that i have this chance to experience it. Hope you will find something magical in these photos also.
It is a magical place, and I am so glad you have had the opportunity to live there. I've always felt that real estate is truly an emotional thing and some places "call" to you. Our cabin at the lake was like that; I knew the minute I walked into that simple little house it was for us and we enjoyed every minute there.
ReplyDeleteHey Diana! I love your pictures of South Whidbey! The pictures of the Bayview entrance to Langley are wonderful, and you are right, those cherry tree blooms don't last forever! Loved the old farmstead pics too! I took some pictures the other day up on Honeymoon Bay Rd. of the cherry trees and blue spruce trees alternating outside some ones property! What wonderful shades of colors those are together! Keep up the good work, I do enjoy your blogspot! I have posted some new pics too!
