ok, here is how exciting my life is. I had a day off right. I spent the morning still trying to fix my checkbook fiasco and then spent the afternoon limping around outside helping Leroy clean up the yard and then training the dogs in the agility field and then we decided to herd the ducks around the yard. Well Sallee has no control so that was exciting and Iris did quite superb with control, i was very impressed. they usually do sheep but we have none so you take the next best thing. Iris only once got close enough to put her paw on one and hold it down. That's her motive opperendi (sp) when she plays or fights or whatever. Hold the opponent down till they settle down. Then we went over and helped with our dog 4h group that we are getting snookered into. the excitement and energy in the room is unbelievable but you really feel pretty good when you leave surprisingly. Its the mothers i wish would go away and go to coffee, they sit and talk and elevate the level of noise in the room. Then it was go get gas and groceries and aget home to eat pizza and watch the biggest loser on TV. See anything wrong with that scenario. Our other concern for the day and maybe today is that diesel is not feeling well. He slept in the bed till 130 and Leroy made him go out and then he went back till about 230 and then slept on the couch till bedtime. He wouldn't eat or drink. he was one of those dogs that had that food from china so i wonder if that is what is wrong again. He was doing fine but his blood levels were still bad. So he may have to go in if he doesn't perk up. It is so sad to see something so small be sick, you don't know what to do. the vet said we could try an eighth of an aspirin, do you know how small that is? So I got no quilting done and Jeff didn't come home as he says he is sick.Maybe he will come today. Leroy worked Mon as a sub so that is a surprise and ablessing. So that is my rambling for atues.

  1. Good job; see- now I know what you did all day. We were gone all day and just got back from the nursing home in Cambridge....long drive for a short visit. Had a care conference and she is really very healthy and on just some pain meds for her knee and a small antidepressant so she doesn't cry all the time. She was pretty confused today so not much of a conversation. Oh well, maybe better next time. Now to go walk the dog and then make some Cream of mushroom soup; that will be fun. :(
Heidi returns tomorrow...I'll be glad when she is home.
    Love, K
