So more days with family. Fun times. Supper at my nephews restaurant. A fun sightseeing trip with my sister that turned into seeing nothing but a down pour around us, but we had lots of fun anyhow. A bike ride on the zumbrota trail with my other sister and brother-in-law. Visits with my crazy nephews, who enjoy giving me a bad time. Seeing my nieces horses. Riding my bike over every street in the little town of Racine and looking at all the houses we played in, hung may baskets on door handles, where all the good looking guys lived. Man that little town had some handsome young men. Visits to cemeteries to pay respects. Hiking and walking at my favorite place Quarry Hill Nature Center, and finding it hasn't gotten worse but better which made my heart full of joy. Toured the Mayo Clinic and saw how its grown since i worked there and learned of the plan to make it a destination town for medical care. Seeing the art there on the art tour. Its been a nice week. Hope to stop back by on my way out of the state.
Now we are on our way up to the Twin Cities to visit Leroy's sister and families and do some business and maybe get up to Isanti tomorrow to see my nephew and do some fishing, and hopefully get up to the cabins and Duluth so i can see another nephew. I am close to my one sisters kids as I feel like i helped raise them as i was there all the time and close to the other sisters kids cause i was part of that family growing up. They know me well and put up with me for who I am which makes it special times. Weather has gone from torrential rains (not uncommon) to hot and humid (not uncommon) to very cool (not uncommon), blue skies to cloudy overcast today. We have had some absolutely beautiful days tho. We can't complain about weather, it has been truly great since we left home.
