Windy City

Well Chicago is not the only Windy City, so is oak harbor, morning and nite and sometimes all day.  Not unbearable tho unless it is raining hard like it has been. Afraid Leroy gets those outings with the dogs, specially in the evening.
We have been getting fine tuned while we are here.  I saw my doc and got my physical.  She officially diagnosed me with diabetes but for now it's borderline controlled.  She said my blood pressure was worse and changed my med.  she said lipids were to high so changed my statin.  Now to keep that straight and shape up.  Then I saw my pulmonary doc who changed around some of my meds and said I jut need to keep working to find the right dose and schedule to help my restless legs, more things to remember.   Arrrrggggh...
Leroy got a bike rack on the car so it can hold bike racks.  We took in my bike for some minor work which should return home to mom (me) this afternoon.
I keep trying to rollover my retirement funds. And man that's a lot of paperwork and I never get it right so till a few more trips for that.
Practicing for our big dog show this weekend, so if anyone cares please say a prayer or wishes so that we do well.
Our little family next door moved to a long time park so we exchanged numbers and hope we keep in touch.  Little girl went to an audition and got a modeling contract.  We goes in to Seattle every sun for 2months for lessons and then they start sending her out on assignments.  Something about that family is endearing.
My little friend continued to stop by.   We want to plan a party for our dog friends like we used to have but can't do it till August.  She also quilts and Donna found some material for her so she has some new material to work with,   She was making  a baby quilt and  got frustrated and gave it to the dog.  Why you ask?   " it's not my work, I can do better, I am not giving away something that bad"
Good standards don't you think?
I tried sewing yesterday here in the RV.  Two problems, I need a block for my feet and more light.  I think we can manage that.  Had technical difficulties but Leroy as always with his sewing machine background fixed it and I learned some more about the machine.  My problem is that the machine of my dreams is smarter than I am, at least at this point.
Today it seems we will try and get my retirement money taken care of, pick up my bike and then head up to camping world for the nite.  Tomorrow the car goes in there to get fitted for something for towing, we leave for Everett for one last md appt, pick up our two little Mutschler girls and head for Argus, a horse ranch turned into a dog training and show facility in Auburn.  Then we will have a three day show and be completely exhausted.  From there we return to camp world here they take the RV and get the tow part done on that .  Then we will head some where to camp over the fourth and then Leroy will be on his own as I go to a quilt retreat in Orting for 4 days. That's the heads up for the near future if I don't get something on.  Leroy has been enjoying himself with many things to putter with and being a father figure to everyone.    He taught my little ms friend to fly a kite the other day.   He loves teaching people, especially kids, to fly kites
I must say people, I am happy.  Still tired but happy. Think Leroy is to.  He starts to worry at times and then we remember its all in the lords hands now and we go where we are lead.  Things will work out.
We keep meeting people in similar situations, sold a house and not settled yet so living in rvs. People deciding to just pack it all in and travel, many our age actually?  We may be a minority but we have a group.
