More catch up

Lets see, I had to cut the above short as we were getting on the ferry.  We combined md appts and errands today and spent the day together and had a late lunch also.  It was nice getting together.  We always have lots laughs.
Staying in Oak Harbor for this time we do like being near a small town that has what you need so you can easily run into town and it doesn't take all day.  So that's a realization we found out.  We used to live in a real small town and being able to walk every where was nice.
This is just a time for us to figure out what we really want in the last phase of our lives.

We have neighbors here at the camp that are pretty interesting,  the young couple next door are moving here from Wyoming.  She is a widow with two kids and a boyfriend.  They are nice kids, but simple and  naive.   Is don't think they have much money and they pulled a trailer out here.  Then they take their  boxes  out of the camper and pile them in the truck.  They have no tarp so when they are gone and it starts to rain, there are Leroy and I out there putting one of our old tarps over their stuff and battening it down,  she is on disability with major back surgeries(which she says is better now) and needs to see a doc cause they think her cancer is back.  Oh yeah, her husband was hit by a trucker that was texting.  The boy has a boot on as he has had numerous surgeries on his feet and still needs more cause he still won't walk correctly so he hobbles around (I think he is 12).  The little girl is a beauty queen and tells me she was in 21 natural talent shows and she has 21 titles.  Mom says they stopped when dad died but hope  to start again.  Then their truck gives up the ghost.  They say they will have to live in the trailer till their house sells in wyo.  she plans on going to school in Seattle for mortuary science.  He says he doesn't know much about her school cause the whole thing creeps him out.  The kids are always offering to walk the dogs to help us cause we helped them.
They are quite the family and if even half of it is true its a bit much for one family to deal with don't you think?
Have had lots of Canadians here this last week. And some homeless staying in tents, and possibly some drug deals going on, who knows. It's interesting!
It's about time for me to pull out the sew machine and see how this quilting on the road is going to
work.
